Charity Cooking Event

On Tuesday, December 19, at 7:00 PM, in Katsamani Square, Gazi, for Malevizi Christmas:

"Let's all come together to cook, share, and bring life to a beautiful evening!"

The Development Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Crete is organizing the charity event "Dough & Pies" under the auspices of Gastronomikon, in collaboration with IEK Tourism of Crete and Chefs Rena Giannoulaki and Nikolaos Chomatas.

"We prepare our workstations, wear traditional aprons and Cretan headscarves, and roll out dough, spreading joy and knowledge about the customs and traditions of the festive season! The ultimate goal is for the proceeds from the students' "Sarikopites" and "Yahneropites" to be given as a divine gift during the holy days of Christmas to families in genuine need."

The evening will be accompanied by the Cretan music ensemble of Haris Fasoulas and Michalis Belivani, featuring the unique askomantoura of Dimitris Manousakis.

To warm everyone up against the cold, homemade Herbal Rakomelo will be generously served.

"Let's all come together to shape dough and let the world admire the pride of Crete!"
